Travel Tips

We’ll be arriving in Sitges a few days early to settle in and kick off the celebrations.

If you’d like to extend your trip and turn this into a vacation, we’d love to see you! We plan to spend a few days relaxing by the pool and exploring the town, so feel free to arrive early and join us before the official festivities begin on Friday.

Arriving

Barcelona-El Prat Airport

Depending on where you’re staying and arriving, we recommend either renting a car at the airport or taking a taxi/private transfer to Sitges or Calafell. Both are walkable beach towns once you arrive.

Accommodations

Hotels / Airbnbs

We’ll have a hotel room block available closer to when invites are sent for those who prefer the convenience of staying together (Most likely Le Méridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa or Akquaaa Boutique Hotel). If you’d rather have more space or a different vibe, we encourage you to book a Hotel / Airbnb in Sitges or Calafell that fits your style and budget.

Activities

Wine & Cava in Penedès

Book a wine or cava tasting in the nearby Penedès region, where you can tour vineyards, learn how cava is made, and sample local bottles.

Beach Day

Enjoy a beach day wherever you land along the coast, Tarragona, Sitges, or Calafell all have beautiful stretches of sand. Spain is famous for its chiringuitos, casual beach bars right on the sand!

Gaudí in Barcelona

Start your trip with a half day in Barcelona visiting Gaudí’s masterpieces, like Sagrada Família, Park Güell, or Casa Batlló.

Day Trip to Montserrat

Take a day trip to Montserrat, a mountain monastery with incredible views, hiking paths, and a famous Black Madonna shrine.

FAQs

Where is the wedding?

The wedding will be held at Masia Cabellut, a vineyard estate in the Catalan countryside between Barcelona and Tarragona. We’ll share exact details closer to the date.

What's the dress code?

Summer formal. Think breathable fabrics like linens and light suits, cocktail or midi dresses, and comfortable shoes you can wear on grass and stone (block heels, wedges, or flats rather than stilettos).

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Most of the celebration will be outdoors at the vineyard (weather permitting). There will be covered or indoor spaces available for parts of the evening and as a backup in case of weather.

How do I get there?

Most guests will fly into Barcelona (BCN). From there, you can either rent a car or take a taxi/private transfer to the coast (Sitges or Calafell) and to the venue. We’ll share more specific transportation recommendations and timing as we get closer.

Are kids allowed?

We love your little ones, but we are keeping this an adults only celebration.

Will there be a hotel block?

Yes. We will have a hotel room block available for guests. We’ll share hotel names, links, and booking details closer to when invitations go out this summer.

When should I arrive?

The main wedding events will take place from Friday to Sunday, with a welcome dinner the first evening and a farewell lunch on the last day. If you’d like to turn it into more of a vacation, you’re very welcome to arrive early or stay later and explore the area.

Should I rent a car?

While not required, we recommend renting a car if you’re comfortable driving, it will make it much easier to explore nearby towns and beaches, and get around on your own schedule outside of the main wedding events.

Will there be transportation on the wedding day?

Yes, we plan to arrange group transportation between the main hotel and Masia Cabellut on the wedding day so you don’t have to worry about driving. Details on pick‑up points and times will be shared closer to the wedding.

What will the weather be like?

Expect warm, sunny days and warm evenings.

Who do I contact if I have more questions?
